We were appointed to obtain planning consent for a four bedroom family house on a vacant plot in the heart of Chingford, E4. Our brief was to create a strikingly modern but practical and inviting home to complement the surrounding Edwardian terraced streets . Strict planning restrictions limited the house to one storey, but with clever use of a basement and lightwells, we were able to fill the property with natural light.
